Why take shared equipment wingfoil lessons ?

Mostly because it is the perfect opportunity to learn how to wingfoil in Portugal with a friend. By taking turns using the wing foiling equipment every 15 to 20 minutes, you will get the time to rest and observe what your buddy is doing. I can guarantee that your next attempt will be more successful.

Shared equipment wing foiling lessons unfold as follow. During on-land wing training, your friend and yourself will switch back and forward from practice to observation. Once you both mastered the handling of the sail, the time has come to start wing surfing. You will enjoy gliding on water with ease while we help you with tips and cheers.  Next, we’ll train to fly a hydrofoil. And finally, you’ll combine all learnt skills and start wing foiling. Sharing tips on what you understood with your partner will most certainly boost your progression.

While you’re taking this course, my main concern will be to adapt my tailored teaching method to your evolution. This multi-steps method has been a number one focus of mine since I’ve picked up wing foiling when it all started. It’s fun and efficient thanks to the many exercises I’ve specifically developed for my wing foiling school. With your radio, I will be able to give you precise advices whenever needed. Why not engage in a new and bonding activity with a friend or a love one ?

The wing lessons take place at Ponta do Espichel in Obidos lagoon (1h drive north of Lisbon). This huge body of salted water could be your greatest ally. Its flat water will make it easier for you to balance over your board and foil. Its consistent winds will give you the opportunity to practice thoroughly and improve day after day. Its size will allow you to focus on your technique rather than on how close you are to the shore. Finally, if the wind lets us down, the lagoon is big enough to practice towed hydrofoil behind a dinghy and still improve your skills.
