Towed hydrofoil lessons

General information

All towed hydrofoil lessons include insurance, safety gear, and a tow dinghy. If you took private equipment wingfoil lessons, every 1 hour lesson from your package will count as 30 minutes of towed hydrofoil lesson. If you took shared equipment wingfoil lessons, every 1 hour lesson from your package will count as 20 minutes of towed hydrofoil lesson.

• 1 HOUR SESSION: This one time session is perfect to try flying a hydrofoil and see if you want to commit any further.
• 2 HOURS PACKAGE: The way to go if you want to get a good chance at creating muscle memory and improving your technique.
• 3 HOURS PACKAGE: Great package for those really looking to step up towards mastering the hydrofoil flight.
• 4 HOURS PACKAGE: The best option for a couple of friends willing to learn how to foil together and improve meaningfully.

More details

• I only accept a maximum of 2 students per lesson. Depending on bookings, it could very well be just yourself.
• A maximum of 2 students will be sharing 1 hydrofoil towed by 1 dinghy.
• You and your buddy will take turns practicing every 15 to 20 minutes. This gives you the opportunity to rest while you keep watching and learning.
• I fluently teach in the three following languages : English, French, and Spanish.
• Any lessons booking must be for a minimum length of 1 hour.
• All you need to bring is a bathing suit, a towel, water, sunscreen, and a pair of sunglasses with a strap.
• The exact time of your lesson will be set the day before according to the latest wind forecast. Please arrive 15 minutes before the beginning of your lesson.
• We meet directly on the spot of Ponta do Espichel in Obidos lagoon pristine natural reserve.
• We depend on the absence of wind so you need to be flexible on the days of your lessons.
